Abstract

This essay intends to perform a critic analysis of the relationships between the Holy Inquisition and the Society of Jesus. Our interpretation pretends to de-construct two antagonist perspectives about the relationships of these two inscitutions. The mychic vision of a whole history of cooperation and communion between both inscitutions and the apologetic vision ofJesuits hiscorians who tried to contradict the opponent way of thinking, giving special attention co the conflict relationships between the two institutions.
